60th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
March 13 - 14

Greetings from the pastor and congregation of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama. Ridgecrest had its beginning on the first Sunday of November 1949 when First Baptist Church began a mission Sunday School in a rented house on Cleveland Avenue. After only four months of work and prayer Ridgecrest Baptist was constituted on March 5, 1950.

Now, 60 years later, I am delighted to invite you to our 60^th Anniversary Celebration. Our theme for the anniversary is, Learning from the Past, Living in the Present, and Looking to the Future. The celebration will take place March 13^th and 14^th. As a family member, friend, ministry partner, or acquaintance of Ridgecrest, our congregation would be honored to have you join us as we fellowship and praise God together for His bountiful blessings bestowed on our beloved church. What a great opportunity for you to fellowship with both past and present members and staff of Ridgecrest. A love offering will be received for much needed building and grounds repairs and updates.

If you are a past choir member, please join us for a combined choir with present choir members on March 14^th during the 11:15 am – 12:30 pm service.  Rehearsal for this choir will be March 13^th at 1:30 pm.

The following is the schedule of events.

March 13^th

12:00 pm – picnic in the Family Life Center featuring worship and testimonies

1:30 pm – past and present choir rehearsal

March 14^th

10:00 am – 11:15 am, worship in the Sanctuary focusing on Learning from the Past and Living in the Present

11:15 am – 12:30 pm, lunch in the Family Life Center

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, worship in the Sanctuary focusing on Looking to the Future
